Considering it has been close to 3 years it is unlikely to ever get a second season. Your best chance is to read the light novels (which are coming out in English).

no it is coming out the maker even said it he said he was just 2 busy with sword art online season 3 but once the studio is done with sao 3 accel will be made he said and that was 8 months ago and its sao is almost done

I have watched SAO before Accel World, but imho Accel is waaay better then SAO, and its maybe better that they dont rush it because if they make Accel World S2 like they did with SAO it wont be good.
Hope for great Accel World S2 and SAO S3. Hope within next year or 2.

nah the novel author said that Sunrise studio is busy so they cannot make a sequel of it, he really likes to make sequel and even joke that KyoAni should do it
the Light Novels sales are great i heard so it only needs a none busy anime studio to do it, even Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere sequel cannot be made by Sunrise studio at the moment because of their busy schedule animating new works

Just one thing, in the 24th episode at the time 13:23 did anyone notice her friend on the train. The one that had the weird memory loss of the Brain Burst battle with sulfur pot. When she was in the train leaning she had a creepy demonic stare towards Hauru? What was that all about; was that a prelude to another series?
