@Origame - I could never understand how some people said they liked that plot. Sure the city warlord plot may have had more terrible elements, but the Tuskan Raider plot sucked too. That show was terrible all the way around.

I hope they get a season 2 to redeem it! Get him off Tatooine, and get Rodriguez FAR away from it.

In Mando, Fett had been more brutal, and there were story ties to his father. I think that’s the biggest miss of the show. Delve into that drama, that little boy who sees his dad beheaded. Why he would fall into a life of violence & crime is obvious. But what pulls him out?

Yes we have the catharsis of near death in the Sarlaac. And rebirth with the Tusken. But show Fett was done with it all before that too.

My pitch: show young Fett in his prime, just before ROTJ. He takes a bounty, but he winds up killing the guy in front of his kid. Heck, make Fett decapitate the guy. Fett becomes what he was running from. He can’t reneg on his contract, so after delivery he returns to the client out of armor to anonymously enact revenge for the little boy. Fan gasp, have Daniel Logan play the young Fett. He’s of age, and there’s shots of him in the suit and he looks great. Show this as the moment Fett starts to question his life of death selling, and decides to do better than even his father. And, to fight back against the criminals who made him and his father into what they were.

Not a great pitch, but friggin better than slow
moving space vespas, & having Fett lead Nothing in his own show.

@MG0019 - The only reason the Tuskan stuff was the best part was because the city warlord part was basically unwatchable. if you liked it, power to you. I found it boring and pointless like the show overall.

I had my issues with the show (mainly structurally) but I did find it decently enjoyable overall…

I can understand if some others didn’t like the direction the character went in after his “rebirth” (or if you liked the EU take more) but as someone who has only known him as the cool looking bounty hunter who did pretty much nothing in the original trilogy or the somewhat bratty kid in TCW , this made him an actual character imo that i liked.

His time with the Tusken Raiders was the highlight imo (aswell as their continued fleshing out ) so if it does get future seasons , I wouldn’t mind seeing Boba try to negotiate an alliance with the other groups on the planet and how some might join or go against him even.

I actually really like the boba series. I really wish they make a second season I’d like to see more of boba. He’s the only character from the original series who feels like he deserves his own platform to tell his story. The show took a complete 180 in the end ruining it with mando and grogu taking over the narrative but the finale was great. Lots of action especially with grogu and cad bane.

I refuse to believe that their was more to the story of Boba Fett.
Like Highlander, Ghostbusters, Jaws, and some others, those were one off movies that told a beginning, middle and end, and the journey of the participants is over.
Boba Fett is rotting in the stomach of the Sarlacc.

Rather see it be made into a (tv) movie, like the first season already should've been (same with Kenobi). That weird stoey structure did it no favours at all. Two hours of straight forward action would be much better imo.

@TheVisionary25 - I did like the six episodes followed the six original movie.

Episode 1 was the origin on the desert planet, 2 the detective story, 3 the confrontation with Vader, 4 the fortress rescue, 5 escape from the Empire and 6 the final fight.

Still, it felt kinda bloated. Think it easily could've slimmed down from six 35 minute episodes to four 30 minute acts.

I’d be up for Boba Fett story set just before Empire Strikes Back, use Tem’s voice, find a stuntman for the show. Have Vader and the Emperor have a prominent role as he’s hunting down Jedi for the Empire. Bring in Cal Kestis and use that scene from Jedi Survivor, but in live action.

Tagline: Before the Sarlaac Pit, he was feared throughout the galaxy.

Also I didn’t mind the colorful biker gang , felt like something that would have been in the prequels and something Lucas would have done considering he was the guy behind American Graffiti aswell.

I sat through the whole season of The Book Of Boba Fett but The Acolyte, just two episodes.
